Accade nelle biblioteche statunitensi in seguito al passaggio di una specie di pesce pulitore, un software impietoso verso i testi non consultati spesso e di frequente (Hello, Grisham – So Long, Hemingway?, Washington Post, 2 gennaio 2007):

That is the new reality for the Fairfax system and the future for other libraries. As books on tape, DVDs, computers and other electronic equipment crowd into branches, there is less room for plain old books.
